The Center for Applications of Remote Sensing(CARS) is working together with Unmanned System Research Institute (USRI) and students from Plant and Soil Science to monitor the growth and harvest of Alfalfa.

Using the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) to launch multiple sensors provides valuable infomation about the crop and greatly shorten the time for data gathering in the field.
